Dear Students,
Today, you will work together as a Travel Agency Team. Your mission is to design and present the perfect travel experience for your classmates.
Think about how travel connects people with different cultures, places, and perspectives. Your goal is to persuade the class that your destination is the best place to visit.
Step 1 – Choose Your Destination
As a group, choose ONE destination.
Examples:
- France
- Canada
- Sénégal
- Belgique
- Suisse
- Maroc
- Un autre pays francophone
Step 2 – Research Your Destination
Work together and answer the following questions in French.
- Où se trouve ce pays ?
- Quelle est la capitale ?
- Quelle langue parle-t-on ?
- Quels monuments ou attractions peut-on visiter ?
- Pourquoi les touristes visitent-ils ce pays ?
Use at least 10 travel vocabulary words from this unit.
Step 3 – Create a Travel Poster
Design an attractive travel poster that includes:
- A title
- Country name
- Capital city
- Map or flag
- At least 5 tourist attractions
- Means of transportation
- Accommodation (hotel)
- Local culture or traditions
- At least 5 reasons to visit
- One travel slogan
- Pictures or drawings
Make your poster colourful, creative, and informative.
Step 4 – Group Presentation (4–5 Minutes)
Every member of the group must speak.
Student A – Introduction
- Introduce the country.
- Explain where it is located.
- Present the capital city.
Student B – Attractions
- Describe the tourist attractions.
- Explain what visitors can do.
Student C – Travel Planning
- Explain how to travel there.
- Describe the hotel, transport, and activities.
- Use the futur proche.
Student D – Persuasion
- Explain why people should visit this destination.
- Describe the culture and traditions.
- Finish with a strong invitation to travel.
Language Challenge
Your presentation must include:
- At least 10 travel vocabulary words

- At least 2 opinion expressions

- Selon moi…
- At least 3 sentences using the futur proche
- At least 2 sentences using the passé composé
Creative Challenge
Create an original travel slogan.

After all presentations, each group will evaluate another group using the following criteria.
